To use the Urdu language pack for
SeaMonkey, first download and install the English
version of SeaMonkey from
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/,
then follow one of the installation procedures outlined
below to install the language pack:
Web Installation (Recommended)
This method will directly download and install the
language pack to the SeaMonkey browser.
After installing SeaMonkey, start it, and
in the SeaMonkey browser go to
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/releases/.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and
click on the link for the installable language pack for
Urdu. This will start the download and install of the
Urdu language pack. When it is complete, click on
Edit->Preferences, and then select
Appearance->Languages/Content. Select Urdu (PK) from the
installed language packs list and Pakistan Region from
the installed content packs list and restart SeaMonkey
to activate the Urdu language pack. (Note: this link
actually installs the language pack, so it will not work
as intended if it is opened in a browser other than
SeaMonkey) OR
Manual Download and Installation
Manually download the language pack from (right click on
the link and save the language pack):
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/1.1.4/contrib-localized/seamonkey-1.1.4.ur-PK.langpack.xpi
Drag and drop this language pack onto the
SeaMonkey browser to start the installation. When it is
complete, click on Edit->Preferences, and then select
Appearance->Languages/Content. Select Urdu (PK) from the
installed language packs list and Pakistan Region from
the installed content packs list and restart SeaMonkey
to activate the Urdu language pack. |
