CLT is a biennial conference series organized by Society for Natural Language Processing, Pakistan (SNLP), aiming to bring together students, researchers and practitioners to exchange research and development in the fields of linguistics and processing of speech, script and language.

The Conference on Language and Technology series is an effort to promote the area of research, educate the masses and the decision making authorities to realize the importance of Language and Technology in this modern age of computers. The first conference of this series, CLT07 was organized by Peshawar University, followed by CLT09 hosted by NUCES, Lahore. The third conference CLT10 was organized by the National Language Authority (NLA), Islamabad, while CLT12, the fourth conference in this series is being convened at Center for Language Engineering (CLE), Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan. The program of CLT12 will consist of invited talks, workshops, tutorials, paper presentations and panel discussions.
