This file specifies how font and language support can be installed in Win 2000 Professional. INSTALLING FONT 1. On the Windows Start menu click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Regional Options icon 3. From the file menu select install new font option. Select path for font file through the add font dialog. OR 1. Type fonts in run dialog box. 2. Copy font into the folder. INSTALLING SYSTEM SUPPORT FOR URDU: Windows 2000 This procedure applies only if you are running a language version of Microsoft Windows 2000 that doesn't match the language you want to type. 1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Regional Options icon, and then click the General tab. 3. Select the check box next to Arabic (the setup may ask for win 2000 installation cd). SET KEYBOARD LAYOUT FOR SPECIFIC LANGUAGE 1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Regional Options icon, and then click the Input locales tab. 3. Click the Add…. Button. 4. Select Arabic 5. Click Ok 6. The keyboard language you selected appears in the language bar at the Top Right or bottom right (on the task bar) of the screen
